Licensing & Usage Rights
1. Overview
All video clips, images, 3D assets, and commissioned works provided by Design Strike UK (“we”, “our”, “us”) are protected by copyright and may only be used under an appropriate licence agreement.
By purchasing, downloading, or commissioning any material from our website or directly from our studio, you agree to the terms below.
These terms apply to all creative works originating from Design Strike UK, including material produced in partnership with Wartime Productions and other associated brands.
2. Licence Types
A. Standard Licence (Non-Exclusive)
For general creative, educational, and editorial use.
Permitted:

Use in online videos, documentaries, websites, podcasts, news, social-media, and educational content.

Non-exclusive use (others may license the same footage).

Worldwide distribution.

Perpetual use for the finished project (no renewal required).
Not permitted:

Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the raw files.

Using the footage as part of a stock library, NFT, AI-training dataset, or resale product.

Using the content in any defamatory, discriminatory, or misleading context.
B. Extended Licence (Commercial Broadcast & Advertising)
For large-scale commercial use, including film, television, advertising, and theatrical release.
Includes everything in the Standard Licence, plus:

Use in cinema, broadcast TV, streaming platforms, advertising campaigns, and exhibitions.

Use within paid products, trailers, or brand content.

Rights for in-house or agency commercial distribution.
Extended Licence Fee:
Applied per clip or per project. Please contact us for a tailored quote and signed agreement.
C. Commissioned Work Licence
For bespoke productions, 3D assets, and digital reconstructions created on commission.
Ownership:
All commissioned works remain the intellectual property of Design Strike UK unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Usage Rights:
Clients receive a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the commissioned material for the purposes agreed in the project brief (e.g. film, exhibition, or educational media).
Exclusive rights or full IP transfer can be arranged under a separate written agreement and may incur additional fees.
3. Credit & Attribution
When feasible, please credit as:
“Footage courtesy of Design Strike UK / Wartime Productions”
For commissioned work, credit may read:
“3D Visuals & Production by Design Strike UK”
4. Delivery & File Use
Licensed files are provided in digital format via secure download links.
You may store backup copies for internal use only. Sharing with third parties outside your organisation is not permitted without written consent.
5. Refunds & Revocation
Because our content is digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final.
Design Strike UK reserves the right to revoke licences in cases of misuse, misrepresentation, or non-payment.
6. Legal & Contact Information
Design Strike UK retains full copyright ownership of all materials unless transferred under signed contract.
Any unauthorised reproduction, resale, or redistribution of our content may constitute infringement under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (UK).
